Decorative linings for tunnels

The base sheets used for GLASAL®-T are fully compressed, autoclaved, flat fibre cement sheets, manufactured from a homogeneous mixture of Portland cement, sand, natural organic fibres and selected mineral fillers.

The formulation does not contain asbestos. The fair face is covered with double layers of acrylic coating with mineral pigments and finished with a UV cured PU clear coat. A blue, removable, adhesive coverfoil is on top of the fair face. The cover foil has the indication ‘made in Belgium’.

GLASAL®-T has a smooth semi gloss surface. See below colour chart for an overview of the range of standard colours. It is technically impossible, however, that this chart represents the colours realistically. Therefore the final choice of the colour has to be made with samples. Other colours are available upon request for minimum orders.
Colour differences are measured according the CIELAB colour model. Tolerated colour differences on a cladding are ΔL* = ±1.00, Δa* = ±0.40, Δb* = ±0.40 and ΔE* = ±1.20. Color variation may be accentuated by the effects of light and the viewing angle.

If the product comes into contact with the skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the eyes are affected, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.
